‘Brave new world’: Musk takes on Democrat over proposed AI restrictions

Elon Musk on Thursday replied “It’s a Brave New World” to a Democrat’s call to pause advanced AI.
Arizona Democrat Yassamin Ansari posted on X that the AI industry was out of control and needed regulating.
Ansari said a pause and a ban on superintelligence should top the Democratic agenda from day one.
The billionaire had spent about $250 million backing Republican campaigns.
