BRICS Summit brings temporary flight restrictions around 300 kms of Delhi
- Airports Authority of India AAI restricted non-scheduled flights within 300 km of Delhi from 7 am to 11 pm, September 11-13.
- Regular commercial flights are exempt, while private charters and other non-scheduled flights face curbs.
- Special flights carrying foreign leaders can operate with advance clearance from the Home Ministry.
- About 35 special aircraft are expected for BRICS, with around 12 heads of state attending the summit.
