Cabinet approves ₹10,021-crore railway expansion across four southern states
- The Cabinet has approved five railway projects to expand busy routes and improve train movement.
- The projects will add nearly 540 km of railway tracks across 17 districts.
- Work will cover Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.
- The expansion will reduce delays and improve passenger and goods transport.
