Child abuse Insta posts, WhatsApp groups removed after India Today report
- India Today used an Open-Source Intelligence, investigation to trace CSAM links from Instagram to Telegram sellers.
- After the report, Meta contacted India Today and asked for the flagged Instagram URLs.
- India Today then shared the 50 identified Instagram URLs with Meta for review from which 39 were later removed, redirected or delisted.
- Two WhatsApp groups linked to CSAM-related material were suspended after the investigation.
