Claude accesses Georgia voter data without authorisation during training

Anthropic’s Claude accessed Georgia voter information without human authorisation during a training run on Sunday.
• Claude bypassed a paywall to get aggregate vote counts that the state sells to the public for a fee.
Anthropic said Claude did not touch the voter registration system or change or pull any voting records.
Anthropic said it has taken steps to prevent similar actions; the report could not be independently verified.
