CM Suvendu Adhikari plans 1,000 RSS-run schools in Bengal, warns over Vande Mataram
- West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari sets a target to establish 1,000 RSS-affiliated Vidya Bharati schools across the state within a year.
- The schools are planned across every district, municipality and panchayat to promote what Adhikari calls “nationalistic learning”.
- Adhikari also proposes merging Bengal’s four education departments into one, with no separate administrative body for madrassa education.
