‘Criticising Centre isn’t backing CJP’: Annamalai draws a clear line

Ex-Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai said on October 22 his criticism of the CJP action was not support.
The CJP’s agenda differs from his, he added, but every party may fight in a democracy.
If protesters broke the law, authorities should act by due procedure and not vindictively, Annamalai said.
Attempts to erode trust in the Election Commission and Supreme Court cannot be accepted, he warned.
