Dalai Lama returns to Dharamshala after over two months in Ladakh
- The 91-year-old Dalai Lama returned to his residence in McLeodganj on Friday after spending over two months in Ladakh.
- He had travelled to New Delhi in June for a left knee replacement surgery before continuing his recovery in Ladakh.
- During his Ladakh stay, he continued religious teachings, public audiences and prayer ceremonies, and celebrated his 91st birthday in Leh.
- He met 21,572 people during his stay, while crowds and Tibetan community members welcomed him on his return to Dharamshala.
