David Bowie shelved his own 1978 concert film. It arrives in arenas in 2027
- A David Bowie concert film shot at Earls Court in 1978 will finally be shown, as an arena production in 2027.
- • Bowie shelved it himself. He later said he simply did not like the way it had been shot.
- The 35mm footage sat in his archive until director Brett Morgen found it in 2017.
- It premieres in Germany next February with the Berlin film festival, then tours arenas rather than cinemas.
