Delhi civic body closes Central Park for two days ahead of CJP’s ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ march
- The New Delhi Municipal Council has closed Central Park in Connaught Place to the public on 16 and 17 October.
- It comes ahead of the CJP’s “Lehra Do Tiranga” march, with the party asking people to gather there at 5pm on Friday.
- Delhi police have urged the public to stay away, citing prohibitory orders already in force in the area.
- The closure follows the Delhi High Court declining to restrain the party from holding the protest.
