Delhi to build hostels for 10,000 students after Satya Niketan tragedy
- Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said the government will build hostels for 10,000 students across the city.
- The hostels will be open to male and female students from any Delhi college or university.
- Some hostels will use the public-private partnership PPP model, while colleges with space will be surveyed for construction.
- The plan comes days after a PG collapsed in Satya Niketan on September 6, killing seven people, including five students.
