DMK leader Regupathy says Stalin spared Vijay on humanitarian grounds over Karur stampede
- DMK leader S Regupathy said on Saturday that former Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin spared TVK chief Vijay on humanitarian grounds.
- He claimed he had urged Stalin to name Vijay the primary accused in the Karur stampede case that killed 41.
- Regupathy alleged Vijay's late arrival and singing atop a bus triggered the fatal crowd surge on 27 September.
- VCK chief Thirumavalavan made similar claims a day earlier, saying Vijay's delay caused the chaos.
