DoorDash to pay $131.5 million to settle NYC probe over delivery worker pay
- America’s largest food delivery company DoorDash will pay $131.5 million to settle a New York City pay probe.
- DoorDash admitted 2,09,000 Dashers were underpaid or paid late from April 2022 to June 2026.
- DoorDash apologised and said the errors were not intentional; $83 million settles a dispute over on-call pay.
- More than $115 million will go to workers, while DoorDash must share pay data with NYC for 3 years.
