EAM Jaishankar hits back at Pakistani journalist at UN over terrorism question
- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hit back when a Pakistani journalist asked why India "sponsors terrorism in Pakistan".
- He shot back, "A terrorist country is asking me that question?", then walked out with other delegates.
- The exchange took place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's 81st session in New York this week.
- India struck terror sites in Pakistan after the 22 April 2025 Pahalgam attack, which killed 26 people.
