Eli Lilly launches oral weight-loss drug Foundayo in UK
- Eli Lilly launched Foundayo in the UK for weight management and type 2 diabetes via private prescription.
- The pill, known as orforglipron, was authorised on August 10 and is the UK's second approved oral GLP-1 drug.
- Foundayo may cost £100–£120 a month, roughly ₹13,050–₹15,665 at current exchange rates, while Lilly is discussing a possible NHS National Health Science rollout.
