Elon Musk urges Anthropic to give shares directly to the public, says he plans the same

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said Anthropic should hand its shares straight to the public instead.
He said this is what he will be doing, without explaining his plans further.
He was responding to AI company Anthropic’s plan to put 5% of its shares in a public benefit fund.
Anthropic said the allocation could rise by 2% for every 50% increase in the company’s valuation.
