Eternal profit soars 92% to ₹125 crore but disappoints market expectations

Eternal Ltd, the parent of Zomato and Blinkit, reported a net profit of Rs 125 crore on Wednesday.
That is a 92% rise from Rs 65 crore a year earlier, but below analyst estimates of Rs 250 crore.
Revenue for the September quarter rose 78% to Rs 24,138 crore, from Rs 13,590 crore a year ago.
Eternal shares closed 3.5% lower at Rs 308.8 on the day of the results.
