FM Sitharaman lays foundation for ₹1 lakh crore horticulture hub in Rayalaseema
- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the Global Horticulture Hub will boost horticulture and create opportunities for Rayalaseema farmers.
- She stressed better water management, modern technology and infrastructure to improve farm productivity and incomes.
- The ₹1 lakh crore project will cover 10 districts and promote crops including mango, banana, tomato and pomegranate.
