Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina criticises PM Rahman for skipping BRICS Summit in New Delhi

Sheikh Hasina has criticised Tarique Rahman for missing the BRICS summit, saying it harmed Bangladesh’s interests.
• She said foreign policy should not be shaped by personal issues or short-term politics.
Tarique Rahman missed the BRICS summit on September 12-13, despite being invited as chair of the BIMSTEC initiative.
Hasina emphasised that participation in the BRICS summit would have opened new avenues for Bangladesh's economic.
