- Her lawyers say her mitral valve condition has worsened in jail and she may need a cardiac catheterisation procedure.
- The defence has proposed home confinement in Manhattan with 24-hour armed security, video monitoring and restricted visitors.
- Flores and Maduro have been held in Brooklyn since January and are awaiting trial on US drug trafficking charges; both have pleaded not guilty.
