FSSAI finds major hygiene violations at Delhi’s luxury hotels
- FSSAI issued notices on August 26 to JW Marriott and Andaz Delhi in Aerocity after inspections found serious food safety and hygiene violations.
- Inspections reported issues including pest infestation, cockroaches, poor sanitation, improper storage and expired food products at the hotels.
- At Andaz Delhi, officials found around 87 kg of expired sweets and cake-related products, along with other hygiene lapses.
- FSSAI collected food samples from both hotels and will take further action based on laboratory analysis and compliance reports.
