FSSAI suspends Seven Seas Hospitality licence over severe food safety violations
- FSSAI suspended Seven Seas Hospitality’s food licence after an inspection at its hotel in Rohini, Delhi.
- Inspectors found fungus on tomatoes, papaya, jaggery and cashews, along with rotten capsicums and degraded cooking oil.
- Cockroaches, houseflies, dirty preparation areas, foul smells and problems with refrigeration were also found.
- Around 74 kg of unsafe food was destroyed, and the hotel was ordered to stop all food operations during the suspension.
