Google DeepMind sees India emerging as a builder of AI models for the world
- Google DeepMind’s Chief AI Readiness Officer Lila Ibrahim said India is not just an AI user but a source of models for export.
- She cited the AnthroKrishi programme, which works with 6 lakh Indian farmers and has been taken to 11 other countries.
- Its two satellite-based models are being used in Telangana to support services for more than 50 lakh farmers.
- DeepMind says India is the world’s fourth largest user of AlphaFold, its system that predicts protein structures.
