GST collections rise 22.9% to Rs 2.31 lakh crore in October as import revenue jumps 42.2%
- Gross GST collections rose 22.9% from a year earlier to Rs 2.31 lakh crore in October, the Centre said.
- Net GST revenue after refunds increased 25.6% to ₹2.03 lakh crore refunds totaled ₹27,934 crore.
- Import GST jumped 42.2% to Rs 72,246 crore, while domestic collections rose 15.8% to Rs 1.59 lakh crore.
- Collections for April to October were up 13.2% at Rs 14.77 lakh crore, from Rs 13.05 lakh crore.
