Hyderabad police warn against late-night birthday celebrations on Tank Bund
- Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar has asked people to stop holding midnight birthday celebrations on Tank Bund.
- It follows an accident there at around 2am, in which a six-year-old girl and a family member were killed.
- The family had gone to Tank Bund to celebrate the child’s birthday when the accident happened.
- Such public road celebrations remain strictly prohibited under existing municipal rules, despite ongoing public gatherings.
