Hyderabad replaces KBR park flyover plan with new elevated corridor project
- Telangana government has replaced the earlier KBR Park plan with a 4.3-km elevated corridor from Jubilee Hills Check Post to NFCL Junction.
- The six-lane, bidirectional steel flyover will provide signal-free movement across five major junctions around KBR Park.
- The earlier plan involved 14 flyovers and underpasses, with its cost revised from ₹826 crore to ₹1,090 crore.
- The redesign follows a clockwise one-way traffic system around KBR Park, which officials said has improved traffic movement.
