Hyderabad unveils its first unmanned power substation in the Old City

Telangana Southern Power Distribution Corporation Limited has introduced Hyderabad's first unmanned substation at Attapur.
Built at a cost of ₹14.38 crore, the 33/11 kilovolt facility is designed to improve electricity distribution and reduce manual operations.
The substation will distribute electricity through eight 11 kilovolt feeders, helping improve power supply efficiency and reliability.
Residents of Attapur Village, Tejaswi Nagar and nearby localities are expected to benefit from a more reliable electricity supply.
