India and Bhutan sign Rs 4,000 crore Line of Credit for energy projects
- India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited Bhutan from 16 to 18 September at the minister's invitation.
- India and Bhutan signed a concessional Line of Credit worth INR 4,000 crore for energy projects.
- The ministers jointly inaugurated a hospital, a bridge and the Lunana Hydropower Project in Bhutan.
- India backed Bhutan's growth plans, while Bhutan supported India's bid for a UNSC non-permanent seat.
