India, Canada begin fourth round of CEPA trade talks in Delhi
- India and Canada have begun the fourth round of talks for a proposed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement CEPA.
- The five-day talks, from September 14 to 18, will cover goods, services, rules of origin and trade barriers.
- Both countries aim to conclude the trade pact this year, with the previous round held in Ottawa in July.
- India and Canada are targeting $50 billion in bilateral trade by 2030, though trade fell 8.22% to $7.95 billion in 2025-26
