India dismisses Pakistan's claims on Indus Waters Treaty ruling as "distortion"
- India's MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal accused Pakistan of misrepresenting facts on the Indus Waters Treaty ruling.
- Jaiswal said the illegally constituted Court of Arbitration's ruling has no bearing on India's sovereign decisions.
- India on 31 August had rejected the arbitration panel's award, reaffirming the treaty's suspension remains in force.
- Separately, Jaiswal said EAM Jaishankar met Ukraine's FM Andrii Sybiha on Monday, reiterating support for dialogue.
