India receives no formal F-35 fighter jet offer from US, says Air Force chief

Indian Air Force chief AP Singh on October 10 said the US had made no official offer to sell F-35 jets.
Singh joked that US personnel wouldn't even let Indian officials near the F-35 while discussing a possible sale.
The US F-35 stealth fighter joined India's Tarang Shakti air exercise in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, for the first time.
Seven countries, including the US, France, Germany and Australia, joined the multinational air exercise.
