- India is set to overtake Germany as the world's third-largest wind energy producer by 2030.
- Official Rajesh Kulhari said India expects to reach around 107 GW of installed wind capacity by then.
- Capacity rose from 21.04 GW in 2014 to 56.09 GW in 2026, with a record 6.05 GW added in 2025-26.
- The expansion is also boosting domestic turbine manufacturing, positioning India as a potential export hub.
