India women win first Commonwealth Kabaddi title with 35-15 victory over Uganda

India women beat Uganda 35-15 in Ahmedabad on Saturday to win the first Commonwealth Kabaddi title.
India finished unbeaten with six wins from six, after leading 22-7 at half-time in the final.
Sakshi top-scored with nine raid points from 10 raids, and ended the championship with 52 points.
Nakayongo Shirat scored 11 of Uganda’s 15 points, with their other raiders managing three between them.
