India's 12000 HP locomotives to feature waterless urinals for loco pilots
- A private railway company is adding toilets that don't need water in India's powerful new electric trains.
- The trial toilet has been working for 4 months, making things easier for train drivers on long routes.
- 650 of these trains have been delivered so far, out of a planned 800 by March 2028.
- The total project cost has gone up from Rs 28,000 crore to over Rs 33,000 crore.
