- The Centre told the Supreme Court that new aviation rules are approved and will be published within two weeks.
- • The rules aim to address sudden airfare hikes, hidden charges and passenger complaints against private airlines.
- A petition raised concerns over airlines reducing free check-in baggage from 25 kg to 15 kg and charging extra fees.
- The Supreme Court asked the Centre to submit the final rules by November 16, when the case will be heard again.
