India's EV adoption hits record highs across key auto segments in September
- Equirus on October 6 said India’s EV penetration hit record levels across major auto segments in September.
- Electric two-wheelers reached 11.6% penetration, with record retail sales of about 2.07 lakh units.
- Electric passenger vehicles hit 8.5% penetration as September retail nearly doubled YoY to 35,900 units.
- Electric three-wheelers reached 65% penetration overall, while L5 models touched a record 52%.
