Iran's foreign minister arrives in New York for the UN General Assembly, as the war with the US goes on
- Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in New York on 18 September for the 81st UN General Assembly.
- President Masoud Pezeshkian followed on 19 September, and is due to address the Assembly.
- He is expected to set out Iran's position on its war with the United States and Israel.
- The US refused visas to some members of the delegation, including Pezeshkian's media team, citing the continuing war.
