Kerala Assembly approves salary hike for MLAs and ministers after 8 years
- KL Assembly unanimously passed a bill to increase MLAs' & ministers' salaries & allowances.
- MLAs will receive ₹98,000 monthly, up from ₹70,000.
- Ministers' monthly pay will rise from ₹1.08 lakh to ₹1.33 lakh.
- • The hike will cost the state an extra ₹6.91 crore annually, with changes starting November 1.
