Kia Sonet owner wins consumer case as Kurnool commission orders ₹10.99 lakh refund

Kia Sonet HTX Diesel owner reported recurring Diesel Particulate Filter warnings after driving just 364 kilometres.
The owner reported more than 15 service visits despite repeated repairs and technical interventions by authorised technicians.
Kurnool Consumer Commission ordered Kia India and MG Brothers Kia to jointly refund ₹10,99,890.
The commission awarded ₹1 lakh compensation and ₹10,000 legal costs plus 9% annual interest.
