Kremlin says Putin-Zelenskyy meeting at G20 in Miami is ‘impossible’
- Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said a Putin-Zelenskyy meeting at the G20 summit in Miami is “impossible.”
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had expressed willingness to meet Putin at the December G20 summit.
- Peskov said Russia is open to meeting Zelenskyy, but insisted any such talks should take place in Moscow.
- The rejection comes as US-led efforts to restart Russia-Ukraine peace talks continue, with no major breakthrough so far.
