KTR seeks ₹25 lakh compensation for families of infants killed in RIMS Adilabad fire
- Three infants died after a fire broke out at the Special Newborn Care Unit SNCU of RIMS Adilabad.
- The fire reportedly started late on September 21 after a suspected short circuit in the neonatal ward.
- BRS working president K T Rama Rao demanded ₹25 lakh ex gratia for each affected family and better care for injured infants.
- KTR also urged safety audits of children’s wards and ICUs in Telangana government hospitals after the incident.
