Lula wins an unprecedented fourth term as Brazil’s president by 4.4 million votes

Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva won an unprecedented fourth term as Brazil’s president on Sunday.
He beat Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, by nearly 4.4 million votes.
Lula had trailed by over 2.2 million votes in the first round, a first since Brazil’s return to democracy in 1985.
A judge extended voting by two hours at both candidates’ request, a decision Bolsonaro’s camp may challenge.
