Made-in-India iPhone 18 Pro models flown out on charter planes ahead of global launch
- Foxconn and Tata Electronics are making iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models round the clock in India.
- Several chartered flights, mostly from Chennai, have carried the phones to the US and other markets.
- The phones go on sale globally on September 18, with Apple trying to have India-made units ready from day one.
- This is the first time Apple’s Pro and Pro Max iPhones made in India will be available from the first day of sales.
