Mamata Banerjee condemns CJP activists’ arrest, tells youth ‘Didi is with you’

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday condemned the arrest of CJP activists Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das.
In a post on X, she wrote this is an attempt to intimidate and silence an entire generation, and is unacceptable.
She wrote that a government that has forgotten it is 'of the people, by the people and for the people' nearing its end.
She told young people that their Didi is with them today and forever, and that rights must never be surrendered.
