- Comando, a 13-month-old Chihuahua, has become the smallest canine member of Mexico’s National Guard.
- Weighing about 7 kg and standing 21 cm tall, he is being trained for search-and-rescue work.
- He wears mini goggles, a tactical vest, helmet and head-mounted camera during training and public appearances.
- Adopted after his elderly owners could no longer care for him, Comando also serves as a mascot at public and community events.
