Microsoft offers voluntary buyouts to 60,000 staff across four countries

Microsoft is offering voluntary buyouts to around 60,000 employees in the US, India, the UK and Canada.
Microsoft said on Monday the time-limited offer covers more than a quarter of its 2,23,000 employees.
Xbox, Windows, Copilot, finance and HR teams are included, while security and commercial units are not.
Microsoft cut 4,800 jobs in July and has not said how many it expects to take the new offer.
