Mumbai records second heat wave in under a week as temperatures hit 38.2°C

Mumbai saw its second heat wave in less than a week on Monday, with suburbs touching 38.2 degrees Celsius.
That is 5.1 degrees above normal, and the second-highest October reading after 38.6 degrees in 2015.
The weather office blamed an anticyclone and easterly winds along the coast, which are delaying the sea breeze.
A yellow warning has been issued for Tuesday, with hot and humid conditions expected in isolated pockets.
