NCPCR summons Meta India head over alleged child sexual abuse material ads
- The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights NCPCR has summoned Meta India’s heads on Sep 9 over alleged ads linked to child sexual exploitation material.
- NCPCR will investigate the allegations and determine the facts after reviewing Meta’s response submitted last week.
- NCPCR had issued Meta a notice on July 3 after taking suo motu cognisance of a BBC Eye report on the alleged ads.
