Nepal police recover cash, gold worth over ₹51 crore from flood-hit bank
- Nepal Police recovered around ₹1.5 crore in cash and gold worth an estimated ₹50 crore from a flood-hit bank branch.
- The assets were retrieved from the Trishuli Dhunge branch of Nepal’s Agriculture Development Bank.
- Police carried out the recovery operation for around eight hours despite challenging flood conditions.
- Officers also secured sensitive banking records and moved the valuables and documents to a high-security location.
