- New Zealand's parliament passed the India trade agreement on Wednesday, with opposition Labour support.
- All Indian goods get duty-free access to New Zealand, while India liberalises about 70 per cent of its tariff lines.
- Indian textiles, apparel, leather, footwear and marine products are among the biggest gainers from it.
- India kept most dairy out of the deal, as it did with the United States in February.
